Frequently asked questions

How do I convert time between time zones?

Add the places, then set the date and time in the first one. The time in every other place is calculated with its UTC offset on that day, so the result is right even across a daylight saving time change.

Does the converter take daylight saving time into account?

Yes. Each city follows the rules of its time zone in the IANA tz database, including the dates of daylight saving time changes. Time zones such as UTC, CET or EST are fixed offsets.

How do I find a good time for a meeting?

Look at the table of hours: the hours that are yellow in every row are working hours (9:00 to 18:00) in all places at once. Click such an hour to see the exact times.

Can I share a conversion?

Yes. “Copy the link” saves the places and the time in the address, so the link opens the same conversion.
